Was recently asked about places to eat when you go up to The Roost! Here are some of my favorites:

Restaurant Recommendation:
Giardini Trattoria – Nice Dinner location
Southern Manners – Breakfast lunch or stop on your way in and pick up to go deli meats, salads and more
Sidestreet Pizza & Pasta - go early and enjoy the bar, dine in or get take out. Best Pizza around
Larkin's Carolina Grill – Close by when you want to catch a game or live music on Friday and Saturday nights
Purple Onion – Another must visit – especially Sunday Brunch
McGorty’s Irish Pub – Tyron – great little bar with the best comfort food!

These boys sure had fun fishing during their trip to The Roost last weekend. The parents enjoyed every minute on our beautiful and comfortable porch. Come see what this is all about!

3 bedroom upstairs with 2 baths, pull out sofa, fireplace, fully equipped kitchen and large screened porch. Downstairs one bedroom, on bath apartment. Available for nightly or weekly rentals. Approximately 20 miles to Asheville, 12 miles to Lake Lure - hiking, camping, wineries and breweries all close by! Great for a Girls Weekend, Boys weekend or family gathering.
