Meet eight-week-old Willie Edwards, a silver lab who lives with his adoptive parents in Italian Village. Willie was taking in the sights and sounds (and smells!) of our neighborhood Saturday afternoon.

Many Germans from "the Old South End" worked in the nearby breweries. Notice the young boys in the front row. This was before child labor laws were enacted in the early 1900s. navigator

We don't know exactly what to make of this, but we still like it.

As seen on Mohawk Street before this week's thaw, a google-eyed, mask-wearing, Prussian helmet-sporting snowman with a bottle of spray cleaner in one hand and a mop in the other. Clearly, this guy was ready to take on the coronavirus.

Sorry for the warmer weather, Herr Schneeman. Perhaps we'll see you again.
