Bonjour de Paris!

Rob is in Paris right now seeing the sites and visiting some museums. There are so many amazing museums in Paris, such as the Rodin museum pictured here where you can see famous works such as the Thinker and the Gates of Hell. Our advisors visit Paris time and time again and always find new museums to explore.

Natalie is in Istanbul all this week exploring the city in depth to bring expert personalized knowledge back to our clients! Whether as a cruise port stop or part of a land itinerary, Istanbul is an incredible city in Türkiye (Turkey) that bridges the continents of Europe and Asia and plays host to over 4000 years of cultural history.

If you only have one day in the city, you can easily see many amazing sites because the most popular attractions are a short walk from one another in the historical Sultanahmet district. Today I toured the Topkapi Palace, the Archaeological Museums, the Basilica Cistern, the Hagia Sofia, and the Hippodrome in just under 7 hours. Keep in mind that in high season lines and crowds will be larger so touring times will be longer. I recommend visiting off season in October-November!

Rome has some of the most popular attractions in the world including the Colosseum and the Vatican, plus a plethora of other important monuments.

If Rome is on your bucket list, we recommend squeezing a trip in before the end of the year or waiting until 2026, as 2025 will see a much higher than normal number of tourists.

With Christmas and New Years falling mid-week this year, many people are taking advantage of extra time off and planning extended trips. Swipe to see our ideas for making the most of your holiday break.

1. Paris and London. Both cities are beautifully decorated for the holidays, and a great choice for a shorter Europe trip. Choose one or the other, or take the Eurostar train to visit both

2. Ski trip. Whether you choose to ski in the U.S. or head to one of the fabulous resorts in the Alps, ski resorts have plenty of Christmas and New Years festivities.

3. All-inclusive resort. On the other end of the spectrum, escape the cold and relax at a resort in the Caribbean with perfect warm weather.

4. Scandinavia. December is peak northern lights season, and winter 2024-2025 is a solar maximum, meaning more intense and frequent northern lights than usual.

5. European Christmas market river cruise. Take a cruise on the Danube river and visit some of the famous Christmas markets in Germany and Austria. Travel and finish your Christmas shopping all in one.

How would you like to island hop through Greece via helicopter? Greece’s first scheduled helicopter airline has daily flights taking travelers to various islands, and to and from Athens in 45 minutes or less.

Ferries can take hours of travel. With incredible views of the islands at a lower price than a scheduled flight, helicopter travel is a win-win. Traveling through the Greek islands next summer is going to be so much easier and more fun!

Fred just got back from a trip to the south. He traveled from New Orleans to Memphis and saw plantations and Civil War history, cruised the Mississippi River on a paddlewheel boat, and saw Elvis' home in Graceland.

It's easy to see all of these historic sites on a river cruise in New Orleans and ending in Memphis.

Interlaken area is often called the adventure sports capital of Europe, and for good reason! There is so much to do here other than just hiking. You can go paragliding, biking, canyon swinging, cliff walking, and climb a via ferrata. The Murren-Gimmelwald via ferrata starts in Murren and takes around 2.5-3 hrs as you make your way across the iron rungs towards Gimmelwald. It’s accessible for beginners due to the iron rungs and ladders attached to the rock gface. Then when you’re done, take a 5 minute gondola ride back up to Murren.
