Interrupting my regular travel content to share something a little bit more personal. On this day, 11 years ago, on a chillier and windier Saturday, my husband and I said I do.

We had already been together 5 and a half years and thought we were who we were going to be. But, since our wedding, we've experienced infertility and loss; growing and teaching and loving two amazing small humans; so many vacations; job changes, new degrees, second jobs, and new career adventures; moments of joy and anger; intense love and sometimes not really wanting to be around each other; and we've both grown A LOT as people, as a couple, and as parents. And, we've both had a pretty epic glow up, if I do say so myself.

Anywho, I just wanted to take a moment and share my favorite travel partner with you all and to say... Happy anniversary, John. I'm glad we're still a duck. 💚🦆

Also, surprise! I'm now booking Royal Caribbean International sailings in addition to the other two cruise lines I've mentioned before. And, let me tell you, getting certified to book these cruises sure does make me want to go on one myself!

Guess who has two thumbs and just got the super exciting news that she gets to visit Universal Orlando with 130+ of her travel agent friends in December! It's me!! 🤩🥳

I learned that I am no longer scheduled to work at the hospital the weekend of our big .travel Universal Orlando trip and training and that we have enough Southwest points to make my flights free so I snagged up one of the last available spots so quick. I'm ecstatic to learn and explore and grow and play and celebrate with my TA coworkers right before the winter holidays. And I can't wait to come back and share it all with all of you!

Just booked a spring break escape for two little princesses and their parents to my family's personal favorite Walt Disney World value resort! Rumor has it, one of them is celebrating her birthday while at Disney too. Such a magical celebration!
