We had a critter problem at the Donna Critchfield Memorial Demonstration Garden. We replanted one plant and surrounded the cage with bird netting. Hopefully, this will keep out our 4 legged friends.

The four of us were in town hunting for the weekend and frankly are tired of shacking up at the goofy motels around Colusa. What a gem Stacey's place is...! What a find...! Perfectly comfortable house with spacious bedrooms/bathrooms, a fully appointed kitchen with everything you need, and extra space like a game room for the kids and a card table downstairs for poker - with an awesome little bar to boot. The outdoor space near the bbq is a nice spot as well, especially when the weather is better.

Five stars overall for the place and a huge value for what becomes a home away from home.

Did I mention our super special, unique and rare (what to call them...?) "amenities"? Chickens!! There are 3 little ladies that peck in the yard every morning and you can sit on the porch and have coffee with them. If you're really nice they might might leave you an egg for your breakfast.
