Imagine the delicious cozy meals you could make in this kitchen/dining room at Greatwood cabin. We love this long kitchen island that overlooks the lake for bigger groups.

The dining room has a large seating area, a small gas fireplace, and swing chairs on the 3 season porch.

No matter the season this is a great space to cook or just gather with those you love. Also a friendly reminder, but our summer calendar is open. Being all of our cabins are lake front and pet friendly we have booked up previous summers. We highly suggest getting your summer dates reserved now at any of the cabins.

All of our cabins have fireplaces to cozy up to this winter:

Loon Lodge (shown) has a wood burning fireplace and a small gas fire stove.

Kodiak has a gas fireplace in the main room.

Lil Bear has a gas fire stove and a small electric fireplace in the bedroom.

Greatwood has a gas fireplace in the living room and dining room.

Follow along in our stories as we make a few changes to Lil Bear.

We have been working hard and having a blast making some changes to Lil Bear, Loon, and Kodiak lately.

As you have seen Kodiak cabin now has a sauna and hot tub. Plus we refreshed some of the paint.

Loon Lodge has some new rugs, a new sectional, chair, an infrared sauna, and hot tub.

Now we are diving into Lil Bear, so follow along to see the changes.

Big News💦

Kodiak cabin not only has a sauna, but also a hot tub!!! This 7 person hot tub will easily fit all your guests.

Bonus check out the views….imagine sitting in the hot tub looking out at the lake while the snow falls around you. ❄️

We are pet and family friendly and approximately 90 min from the Twin Cities.

We love visiting the cabins ourselves and listening to our kids giggle with the memories they are making.

We added a couple playground pieces to Lil Bear for kids to enjoy during their stays. Hopefully your kids will also make many memories, play hard, and sleep soundly during a stay with us

Who is ready for snow?! We have been getting some snow at the cabins. Not quite this much (see stories for recent snow fall.)

We love that Kodiak cabin now has an outdoor sauna to enjoy during your stay and shhhh 🤫 something else is coming to Kodiak soon. We have a hunch you will love it this winter, so get your reservations in now. What’s your guess?

This sauna overlooks Long Lake, which is great for these cooler days or to watch the snow fall while getting your sweat on.

Kodiak cabin also comes with snowshoes, trails, and a bonfire pit for your outdoor enjoyment.

We have had some minor dusting of snow so far this year. However once the snow drops our cabins truly are a magical winter wonderland.
