We hope that everyone who has visited our house, Roca Del Rio, has had a great time and made lots of wonderful memories! There is still a lot to do at the Frio, and there are several great places with lots of water for making more “happy times”! Hello, hello, hello! I am finally believing that our winter is over, and that we can now say, “Hello, Summer of 2022”!! Our family would like to send a heart-felt “Thank you”, to each one of you that spent some of your 2021
Spring, Summer or Fall with us at our house, Roca Del Rio…….. We sincerely hope that you made “our house your house” while you visited. We hope you made good use of all 5 bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms by bringing 20 other family members or friends with you, and we know the large swimming pool and cabana was enjoyed by all 21 of you!!
We also hope that you decide to build more
great memories during the Summer of 2022 by booking another stay with us at Roca. I am sure that the House Pasture Bar and Grill will book more great musicians to entertain you with concerts on Saturday nights, and I know that the Mountain Valley Country Club, just a block or so away from our house, is already getting the golf course ready for a summer of visitors!
The cool, clear waters of the Frio River are calling to you again, waiting for you to drop a tube in it and take a float or just to sit down and let the refreshing waters run over your body………. If you just shut your eyes and lean back, you can almost hear the river running right now.
We hope you have a safe and exciting summer wherever you are, but we invite you to visit us at Roca Del Rio and build memories of the river, family and friends that

WOW - another summer is behind us! Every year, I believe time speeds up.....or maybe old age causes that?? 😂😂
My family and I are, again, humbled by all of you who spent time in our house this summer. “Thank you”, doesn’t seem to be enough to say. We built Roca del Rio in the hopes that the people who visited it and made memories while staying there with their family, would be comfortable and would enjoy every minute spent there. We hope you loved, not only the amenities at the house, but also your swimming and tubing in the wonderful Frio River. We hope you came with the anticipation we feel every time we cross the bridge or see the foothills as we drive in, and we hope you left feeling refreshed, relaxed and recharged!
We appreciate all of you who honored our family by staying with us in 2021, and if we accomplished our purpose in building Roca, we would love to welcome you back to visit with us again in 2022! Remember, reservations for the summer of 2022 open on October 1, 2021 - that’s day after tomorrow!! We, again, thank all of our past visitors and invite anyone reading this Post to experience the Frio River in Concan, Texas and be our guests at Roca del Rio.
