Crooked Lake makes a nice launch point for a leisurely tour of Michigan's beautiful Inland Waterway. Explore this 40-mile-long historic water route that begins north of Petoskey with a series of rivers and lakes and connects Conway, Oden, Alanson, Indian River, and Cheboygan to Lake Huron.
Condo renters can bring a boat or rent one for a day from a nearby marina.
