Summer is here and the The Royal Wulff is fully operational. We have developed a ‘mocktail’ menu, and are trying out a new fennel, Arugula, English cucumber, orange salad. And also a new Italian Panini.

Last year was the 150th birthday of Yellowstone National Park. It was also the year The Hemingway Society brought its International Conference to Cooke City at the Yellowstone's NE Entrance. It was hosted by the Royal Wulff Tavern inside the Historic Range Rider Lodge. Unfortunately last year saw the worst flooding in the history of the area and Yellowstone was cut to Conference attendees. But.. on the bright side it meant that The Lamar River and it's tributaries didn't get fished at all last year. Coincidently this year is the 100th Anniversary of "Big Two-Hearted River" and John Maclean, the son of 'A River Runs Through It' author has penned the forward to the Centennial Edition of the Hemingway masterpiece. Let's celebrate the beginning of fishing season and if any of you decide to come visit the area this year please stop by The Royal Wulff Tavern https://www.facebook.com/ at the NE Entrance, check out permanent Hemingway Exhibit, learn about Hemingways favorite flies and fishing holes and sit by our open fire place enjoy a Hemingway Daiquiri or try our new Absinthe Fountain.
