October's new releases are now available. These three bring our kit count to 299 kits we've created. Yes, some are no longer produced, but we're still kicking after 25 years, contrary to all the naysayers. So, what do you think kit number 300 will be?

Our new kits are now on sale for this month. Following on from the Sturgeon mods (Narwhal, Lipscomb, and R.B. Russell) last month, this month's kits are the USS Jimmy Carter SSN-23, and the USS Indiana SSN-789, a Block III Virginia class submarine. The Indiana design was assisted by her former CO. Get them on special now.

Decided that this month's new release would be a kit we'd wanted to do for years. It represents a class of 122 ships, all built in one yard specifically built to make these ships. None were completed to do what they were designed for, rather they served both civilian and military purposes, sailed throughout the interwar period, and into the next war, losing 57 of their own in the service of multiple countries.

It's been about three months, so it's time for not one or two but six new releases. Admittedly, four of them are small but nevertheless, they are new releases. So, in order of stock number, here they are:

4-264 USS S-18
4-265 USS S-42
4-266 USS Florida BB-30 1918
4-267 USS R-4
4-268 USS L-1
4-269 USS Argonaut SS-166

All kits are cast hulls and 3-D printed small parts, with just photoetch railing needed. They can all be seen on the website now. Also, more subs are on the way, as well as a couple of reissues and the next BatDiv 9 battleship. And, maybe a 1/178 scale version of something above to go with the Lionfish...

Sad news today. My old partner Ted Paris passed away Easter weekend. Just found out from his sister. We'll miss him here, but keep with the standards he set. Thanks to Ted for making us better.

After a bout with the flu, then the dreaded COVID, and a final week of COVID pneumonia, there's a new kit available. And, even there's no photo of it yet, it comes with a 3-D printed cage mast forward.
