11/15/2024

Day 7. Today we traveled over 300 miles from Seville to Madrid. We stopped in Cordoba to visit the magnificent Mezquira, a 8th century mosque with a Christian cathedral built inside it. Truly amazing architecture. Since we didn’t spend much time in Madrid, I guess I’ll have to come back.

Day 6. Today was spent exploring the city of Seville. The main attraction for today was the Seville Cathedral, the burial site of Christopher Columbus.

Day 5. The morning started out with a walk through the old town of Granada. Unfortunately it was raining so the photo opportunity’s weren’t the best. This afternoon we drove down to Seville. The evening photos were from a beautiful square in Seville.

Day 4. Today was a long day on the motorcoach. 🚌. We traveled over 300 miles, heading to the city of Granada. The main attraction in Granada is Alhambra, a citadel built by the Moors in the 13th century.

Day 3. Today we traveled down the coast to the seaside town of Pen*scola for lunch on the Mediterranean coast. Further down the coast was Valencia, our overnight stop. Valencia is a town with an Old City side and a futuristic side. Truly a beautiful city.

Day 2. Today we experienced two of Barcelona’s top attractions. First stop was Montserrat home to the Benedictine Abbey of Santa Martia located high atop the mountains outside of Barcelona. Second stop was Sagrada Familia, Gaudi’s masterpiece that is still under construction.

Leaving on an exciting adventure to Spain. Traveling on an escorted package called Highlights of Spain with Insight Vacations. 🇪🇸
First stop Barcelona then Valencia, Granada, Seville followed by Madrid.

Las Vegas doesn’t always mean gambling and shows. Just a short ride from the Las Vegas airport and strip a relaxing stay at The Green Valley Resort and Spa can be found. 🌴 It has one of the best spa experiences I’ve had 🧖‍♀️.
