Welcome all runners and visitors here for the Circle the Bay 30K happening this Saturday, August 10th! We're thrilled you are here on Oregon's Adventure Coast: Coos Bay - North Bend - Charleston, we hope you have a wonderful stay.
Please note, the course starts at Ferry Road Park in North Bend, winds through the charming Coos Bay waterfront, loops around the bay via Eastside, and culminates back at the starting point.
Individual 30K and Relay team #1 runners start at 8 AM. Walkers start at 6:30 AM. Day of race registration and packet pick up are from 6:00 to 7:45 a.m. at Ferry Road Park. Runners should assemble at the starting line no later than 10 minutes before start time for instructions from the race director. Come dressed to run; no space is available for changing/showering.

As we continue to celebrate Coos Bay's 150th Birthday, there are a number of events coming up to commemorate this milestone! Here are just a few, thanks to our friends at the Coos History Museum & Maritime Collections.
COOS BAY 150TH BIRTHDAY SPEAKER SERIES AT THE COOS HISTORY MUSEUM
The Coos History Museum (CHM) will host the first installment of the 150th Speaker Series “150 Years of Marshfield History” on Thursday August 15, 2024, from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m.
Celebrate 150 years of Coos Bay with stories from the Marshfield days to present with CHM volunteer Steve Greif.
This program is the first of three lectures to be held on the third Thursday of each month through October. It will be hosted in person at the Coos History Museum as well as on zoom. The cost of admission is $5 for in-person members, $7 for non-members, and $5 for zoom regardless of membership.
Pre-registration is encouraged and can be done by calling 541-756-6320, visiting cooshistory.org, or visiting the front desk at 1210 North Front Street.
