"I traveled here for a girls trip in October. Sedona has lots of resorts to fit everyone’s tastes and there are so many hiking opportunities. We really enjoyed our hike to Devil’s Bridge and if you are patient and have a lot of nerve, you can walk across the top. You can’t miss the Pink Jeep Tour! It’s an exciting ride and you literally go up on the side of the red rock formations. A lot of resorts have spas which is a great way to spend some time after all the hiking you will do. Downtown Sedona is full of shops and restaurants. A great girls trip, couples trip or family trip for anyone who enjoys breathtaking views!"

Amelia Island is a small island located about 40 minutes from Jacksonville, FL. With great beaches, a quant little seaside town and lots of condos, houses and resorts, it makes for a fun vacation! The Ritz Carlton for a high-end or adult vacation or check out The Omni resort if you are bringing kids. The Omni has a kids club that plans activities and a really fun pool area. Tips, tricks and trips Tuesday takes us on an amazing trip this week!

South Beach, Miami is unique and know for its art deco style and nightlife. There are also some great resorts such as The Ritz Carlton, The Setai, The Betsy and Delano. With great pool and beach amenities, it is usually a hot spot in January and February. No visit to South Beach is complete without a stop to Joe’s Stone Crab. Hit Lincoln Road for some great shopping or sit outside on one of the many outdoor patios on Ocean Drive for some people watching. Makes a great weekend getaway any time of year!

It's Travel Team Tips, Tricks & Trips Tuesday & one of our Associates has had two incredible trips of her own to share about that we wanted to be sure and share with all of you -- because Fall and Winter are HERE (or just about here) and it's time to book that travel! Have you ever thought of these ideas?? Michelle says:

A fun couples trip we took in Fall of 2019 for our friend’s milestone birthday was to Prague. Prague is especially beautiful at night, so if you can do a Prague boat or other tour at night, definitely do! The views from the monastary on the hill are spectacular, and if you get a little outside the city, you can also see glass blowing factories as well as a unique church made out of skulls and bones. It’s a great walking city and relatively cheap compared to other cities in Europe.

And then....

We wanted to take a trip around the Christmas holidays but wanted a beach and warm weather. In 2019, my husband and I took our kids (aged 14 and 16 at the time) to Hawaii! The weather is nice year round and winter is the start of whale season. There are sooo many things to do in Hawaii- whale tour, road to Hana, snorkeling, bike riding, luau, helicopter ride etc. It was a great vacation and we will always remember our Christmas Eve Hawaiian church service!

The first thing I like to do when I get to a new city is walk! Take a long walk and honestly, just get lost for a bit. It’s a great way to get the lay of the land and to see what is around the hotel. We are usually trying to stay up to adapt to the new time change, so it’s a great way to stay awake and get your first glimpse of a new place!

WOW!! Things are beginning to cool off a bit here and Texas for this Travel Team Tips, Tricks and Trips Tuesday! Could Fall weather be on the way???!
It has us thinking and dreaming of fun trips for the fall!!
Greenville, SC has become a great town with activities, great restaurants, and shopping. The third fastest growing city in the US right now and for good reason! Check out the Swamp Rabbit biking trail which runs 20 miles from downtown to Traveler’s Rest, walk Main Street with boutiques and unique restaurants and a distillery, and play some golf. It’s a great city for a weekend getaway and is only a short drive from the Greenville-Spartanburg airport which has direct flights from DFW. The fall is a great time to go with its mild temps and great foliage.

Today is: Travel Team Tips, Tricks and Trips TUESDAY! Recently, we shared a trip story from one of our associates and today is a continuation from that same trip but with a new Vacation Stop! Check it Out:

On a recent trip to Las Vegas, our travel advisor Kari Williams and her hubby ran into Elvis. While talking about their plans, he stated that they had to visit Valley of Fire State Park in Nevada. It’s about 45 minutes outside of Las Vegas. It is well worth the drive! They saw beautiful rock formations, huge white horned sheep, and the gorgeous white domes. There is so much to do and see, and at $15 per day, you could spend a week there! Just a side note…don’t go in the middle of the summer!! It was 118 degrees and way to hot to truly explore!
