Well, time for a big announcement. As we spend most of the year in Florida, maintaining three cabins in New York has proven to be a bit challenging. Therefore, we have decided to sell our rental cabins. Don't worry if you are booked for the summer. This will not effect your vacation plans! We will sell with a closing date no sooner than September 1st.

Three Hurricanes Loft has listed today and Three Hurricanes Landing will list later this month.

We will keep Three Hurricanes Lodge and may rent that one again.

We truly love all three cabins but since Julie is still working full time in Florida, we found the one drawback. We don't really enjoy being apart for five months a year.

The cabins are listed with Winslow Reality in Corinth NY and should be available on Zillow.

Hello everyone. We hope you had a great Holiday and that you have a wonderful New Year. We just wanted to give you a heads up that the first week of January is when we get about a third of our bookings for the season. Many people get to make their vacation picks after the first of the year. If you are planning to stay at one of our cabins, please consider booking early to get the best choice of dates. We look forward to seeing everyone again this summer!

Well, it’s time to close up and head south. Thanks to everyone who rented this year. It was a great summer. The boats are out and ready to be winterized. We had some landscaping done and the contractor is ready to expand the bathroom at Three Hurricanes Landing. We will post updates as he sends us photos. Weeks for the 2024 season have already started booking so book early to get the best pick. We look forward to seeing everyone again next year.

If you feel like taking a hike, try the Hadley Fire Tower. Just a few miles from the cabins. It’s about 4 miles round trip and is an intermediate hike. We went up there today and the view is spectacular. Just google it for directions.

Up at the car show across from Bons Ice Cream in Lake Luzerne. We will be back again next Wednesday with our Vetter (the red one in back). And, there will be live music so come up and see all the cars.

Well the water seems to be back to normal at the opened the beach in Corinth.

It’s been a wild couple of days on the Hudson River up here in Corinth. The water rose higher than we or any of our neighbors can remember at any time mid season. We expect this in early April, but not July. We were fortunate though. We were able to pull on boat out of the water and that was not easy. The other two boat and docks were well secured. We spent several hours going to friends and neighbors who don’t live in the area and securing their boats and docks. Our peddle boat got washed away but fortunately some down river was able to grab it and secure it. Not everyone was so lucky though and at least one whole dock with two boats attached broke free and went over the falls. The water is now receding and things “Should” be back to normal by the weekend.

To all our renters, this is why we ask that you don’t go under, or even too close to the bridge to Corinth. This is an awesome job by Law Enforcement. These officers literally jeopardized their own lives to save others.

We know everyone is getting excited about their summer vacations but the winter can be pretty cool too. This is the view today from Tbree Hurricanes Loft.

As of last night, July and August are booked at all the cabins for the 2023 season. We still have availability in June, September and early October. We are looking forward to a great season.
The pontoon boat at The Landing was completely reupholstered and the ugly carpet was pulled up and a new non slip floor was put in. It the spring it will be wrapped in new colors. It’s going to be like a brand new boat.
We are also hooking up the washer and dryer.
At the Loft, we will finish up the landscaping and plan to add central A/C.

We added a couple of new features at Three Hurricanes Landing this week. New lighting in the canopy over the deck and a 240v outlet for EV charging. Always upgrading!

As we get ready to wind down the season we just wanted to thank all of our fantastic guests. It’s been a great summer and we had so many fun people stay. Here’s a sample of some of the notes left in our guestbook. We hope everybody comes back soon. But just a heads up, Three Hurricanes Lodge Is no longer available because we will be living there next year. That’s been a long time coming but we are really excited. The loft and the Landing are both available but at this .2023 is already about a third of the way booked. Book soon to get your best choice of week. By the end of the first week in January I’m confident that both cabins will be fully rented. A lot of people get their vacation pics in the first week in January and we get a lot of bookings that week. Have a great rest of the year!

P.s. One of our guest had a little fun with the puppy statue. We love it.
