Harvesting hazelnuts: sweeper rakes the nuts (& leaves) into a winrow so the picker can separate the leaves out and harvest the nuts. When you stay at Pondview, you get to view the hazelnut orchards and stroll through the walnut orchard!

The Killdeer are laying eggs! We love to watch the momma's work hard to get us to follow her away from the nest. They pretend to have a broken wing, it's fascinating! The babies are rarely seen after hatching because they leave the nest so soon. However, my mom was lucky enough to see some the other day. I missed the dive, but Pondview has a resident Osprey that fishes the pond multiple times a day. It's pretty impressive to watch! We are the 3rd & 4th generation of Twigg Farms. Together we created Pondview as a way to keep this centerpiece of our family farm. Brad had the fantastic idea to buy the property, keep it in the family and turn it into something amazing. We are so excited to share this very special and unique home with you!
