We’re on Sea Oats Court in the Ocean Sands development in Corolla. We didn’t know what a sea oat was until we bought this place, but now we love them.

Everyone loves a good before & after.

Nearly every wall in the house is covered by this grained particle board, and we love the texture but the color kept the house dark and dreary.

We painted it and WOW what a difference! Can’t wait to show you the rest of the house 🤩

It has been a little over a month since we closed on this beaut. We’ve put blood sweat and tears into fixing it up and we’re almost ready for rentals!

Part of the deal when we bought the house was that we would also buy all the furniture and decor that was left behind by the family who owned it before us. We cleared out a lot of stuff, but we also found some really cool pieces that we’re excited to incorporate into our designs.

One of the many things that sold us on this house was how perfectly located it is.

✔️2 minute walk to the beach
✔️1 minute walk to tennis courts
✔️10 minute walk to a Harris Teeter
✔️Plus tons of privacy provided by the oak trees that surround the property (which is how we came up with the name!)
