Beautiful place, amazing hosts, and memories that will last forever! 5 ⭐️
From the moment we booked our stay in this beautiful home, we knew it would be great! Our host, David is amazing and extremely thoughtful; his mission is your mission, to enjoy every moment making memories.
From the preplanning, the road trip there, and many suggestions for our stay for the week. We will be forever be grateful/thankful for having amazing hosts and our time here. This will not be our last. We have found our family spot!
Renting bikes for the week, right down the road was the best decision. We parked them in the garage and rode around everywhere. From the community pier to watch the sunsets, to the beach for sunrises, to the park, historical centers, and shopping centers.
The Currituck Maritime Forest Trail about 2 miles down the road did not disappoint and the wild horses surprised us in the evening hours.
Many great places to eat and entertainment all along the OBX coast. Volleyball and frisbee on the beach. 4x4 drive on the beach was a memory we will never forget.
After a day of adventures, coming back to an amazing home was comforting and relaxing... and no better way of ending a great day than watching the sunset!
We will be back sooner than later!

Even the "moonsets" are spectacular over Currituck Sound. This is a 6% waxing crescent on a clear crisp night on January 13, 2024.

Lasso the Sun is a privately managed beach rental in beautiful Corolla, NC. Comfortably sleeps 8-10 with 3 kings, a bunk with a trundle, and a pull-out. The lower level has a second family room and direct pool and hot tub access. Sunset views of the Currituck Sound are breathtaking and it is an easy walk or partial 2-minute drive to awesome Corolla beaches.
