My youngest lab has an incredible nose even for a Labrador. She smelled this dead brown under the water and retrieved it. Too bad this big male died on a small, private brook, just before spawning season. We left it for the nighttime critters to feast upon.

Recently, I broke in my new Scott Session on the Willimantic. You can get some impressive sized fallfish when the river is up and off color a bit.

Now that summer is upon us in a big way, I am focusing more on providing lessons and guides on the Farmington. That being said, guiding and giving lessons on some eastern streams this year was very nice!

It's been a while since my girls have been fishing with me, they loved every minute! My camera on phone is damaged so the pictures are not the greatest but, the memories will last forever. Their fishing trips always end up pup cups. Now they are happy and tired. Today was a great day!
