Puerto Vallarta was the trip of a lifetime. This was a new place for us and we will definitely be back. It reminded us so much of St. Lucia & Hawaii. The mountains, jungle, and the beach all in one place. Highlights of our trip listed below. (all won’t fit so the rest will be in the comments) 🇲🇽 Our resort ⭐️ We stayed at a luxury adults-only resort which is now one of my favorites ever. The grounds are gorgeous, the food/drinks are top knotch, and the service is impeccable. Not to mention, the most stunning rooftop pools ever. It is located on a tropical cliff-edge overlooking Banderas Bay in Puerto Vallarta. It’s literally like being on a cliff in the jungle. At this resort, you have full access to the sister resort which is beachfront. Trolleys come every 5 minutes throughout the day to take you anywhere you need to go. It really is like an upscale community. This resort also includes a few excursions that take place on site! It makes things so convenient. The Romantic Zone ⭐️ It is a trendy neighborhood in Puerto Vallarta with lots of bars, restaurants, cafes, and art galleries scattered around its cobblestone streets. This area of town is so quaint with so much culture and has so many different cuisines to choose from. PV is definitely a place for foodies. It was so fun experiencing that part of the city, walking around taking in the sights, shopping, etc. Kayaking & Hiking Tours ⭐️ Our resort included a kayak tour to Los Arcos. It was 2.5 miles each way! It was hard but so worth it to see them up close. Definitely a must do. Our resort also had a hiking tour available to guests. We hiked to a local waterfall called Cascada. Food Tour ⭐️ Our food tour in the city was incredible. Gio was our guide and he was so informative and made it so fun! We stopped at 8 different tasting locations. The theme of the tour was tacos and tequila. We learned so much and had an amazing time. I highly recommend @vallartafoodtours !

This resort is an adults-only, all-inclusive hotel located in the vibrant “La Isla” neighborhood of Cancun. It is for my people on a budget because It’s affordable and beautiful. It’s right across the street from local shopping malls and restaurants. You could definitely get off property to explore the area easily because it’s centrally located to almost everything. The grounds are so lush and green and the pools have amazing oceanfront views. There are 5 table service restaurants, 1 buffet, 3 bars, a coffee shop, and a poolside grill. It’s simple and easy and not a hard resort to figure out. Sometimes those are the best kind! Everything is easy to find. We stayed there for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I definitely recommend Elite Club for premium liquors and added amenities.
