I have thoroughly enjoyed creating this newsletter, which highlights Bourbon Tourism one location at a time. It aims to help you plan your day in Kentucky, featuring stops at our beautiful distilleries, along with insights into side trips and the local food scene. I begin with Frankfort, showcasing some of my favorite distilleries, including Whiskey Thief, Buffalo Trace, Castle & Key, and Glenns Creek.

In addition, I offer essential dining recommendations, such as Serafini in Frankfort and Heirloom, Don Jockey, and Wallace Station in nearby Midway. If you haven't yet explored the charming railroad town of Midway, you're missing out on a hidden gem. I also recommend setting aside an hour during your "bourbon day" to visit one of our stunning thoroughbred horse farms, where you can see these majestic animals up close.
