This year marked the 10th annual Bogue Falaya River Sweep organized by Keep Covington Beautiful in partnership with the City of Covington and Canoe & Trail Adventures. On September 28, volunteers came out to the Bogue Falaya Park Launch to participate by canoe and kayak, removing 646 lbs of litter. Congrats to all involved! Read more: https://bit.ly/406ceNm

Such a great time on our moonlight (sunset) paddle yesterday on Cane Bayou (Mandeville).
The company was great and the view was spectacular.

Blending Outdoor Recreation and Education Since 1972

Since we opened in 1972, we’ve been sharing our love of the great outdoors with travelers and New Orleans locals alike. The wilds of Louisiana are an awe-inspiring place, and it’s our passion to explore and teach people all we can about what they have to offer. With the longest and most scenic canoe and kayak trips in the area, our Master Naturalists will treat you to a leisurely, eco-friendly tour on the water that's unlike any other.

Starting in May 2019 we became the official paddlesports outfitter for the Chimes restaurant in Covington, La. We have kayaks (single and double), canoes (double and family), and paddleboards for rent at the Chimes dock. You can reserve your boat in advance on our website (www.canoeandtrail.com/rentals-1) or just walk down to the dock and see what is available. We have over 35 boats in our ever-growing rental fleet. Most of our boats are beginner friendly but we do have a few premium boats as well!
