My Story:

When I was younger I always dreamed of traveling the world and experiencing life outside of the US. I've had this thought my entire life that all of us are stuck in a routine society because of social norms. We all believe that we are to follow the path - high school, college, job, marriage, children, and maybe see places when you get old and retire - but then the cycle starts over. I

didn't want to just tell my children one day the stories about high school and college. I want to inspire them by telling them all that's out in the world and letting them know they aren't bound to this working life. Every country in the world gives their people a chance to explore. In the US you are seen as crazy for breaking routine. I mean you get 10 days of vacation a year - that's plenty for you. (That makes me feel sick to be honest)

When I finished college this dream of mine never died. I was fortunate enough to have parents that allowed me to live at home and save as much as I made. I then wrote a beautiful letter to my boss letting him know that I love my job, but the world needs me. So I quit my job and traveled the world for one year alone. Before then, I'd only been to Canada and some states. But I've mastered the solo travel life and I'm addicted to it. I plan to see every country in the world. Now for those of you sitting at your desks - it's time to be inspired and go on adventure. The desk and it's work will always be waiting for you when you return. The memories will last a lifetime. My Purpose:

I want to change the way we think and let you be inspired by all those that are out there in the world. You just need to get up and go! I'm just the guy that will give you the push. My Motto:

Always be good and do for others and don't expect anything in return. Life has a way of returning the favors. Favorite Travel Quote:

"To see the world, things dangerous to come to, to see behind walls, draw closer, to find each other, and to feel. That is the purpose of life.”

I guess you can say I’m a bit unique in the way I like to travel. Since I was 23 I’ve found a rush from traveling the world solo. I quit my job and spent an entire year exploring the landscapes and cultures that surround us. Before that time I hadn’t stepped foot outside my own country. I learned how valuable time is and how it’s spent, which is what led me to one of my greatest adventurers.

Salima, Malawi in East Africa. I thought to myself; what better way to travel, explore cultures, try new foods, experience life, then to join one of these exciting organizations - Habitat for Humanity. You might be asking yourself “How the hell does this guy have the time?” I’ve got a full time job as a construction manager in New York City - It can be done!

It was a mind altering experience. People that grew up with hardly a shirt on their backs were some of the happiest people on earth. Here we are in our daily lives concerned with the WIFI working properly.

In 7 days our habitat team made up of Americans from all over the country came together to build a home for a family in need. Prior to the build they lived in a straw roofed mud hut with no door - just wide open to the animals. The family was a widowed mother and her 4 children living in a space no bigger than a closet. What we did for them changed their lives forever.

Now it’s important for me to pass this message along so others can follow and live the same adventure - while helping others along the way.

Maui, Hawaii.

Drove all the way up the edge of the mountain to find myself hiking one of the most spectacular trails. So much bio diversity along the way up to the top. I found myself hiking through eucalyptus forests, jungles, open fields, and all along the ridge lines. To make things even sweeter I met an amazing new friend at the top

👨‍🚀

Haleakala Volcano, Maui.

Before visiting I couldn’t really get it into my head that I’m about to hike through a volcano that created the entire island of Maui. Once I got to the top and you can see the entire ridge line of the bowl that made up this shield volcano I was absolutely blown away. The entire valley that I’m looking over in my photo 500 years ago was filled with molten lava. It’s now home to some mini volcanos that explored on my 10 mile hike. 🤙

Without question a must do and a top place on my list of adventures.

I will be rolling out my full list in the coming days of all my top places.

Craig’s List of Adventures

If you’re reading this you’ve taken the first step towards your next adventure. So many of us spend our lives watching others behind a computer doing what we could only dream of. What if I told you I could take you around the world, would you take the leap? Would you be able to put that computer down and step into the picture? I think most of us would say yes, but in reality it’ll just end up being that conversation we once had and it’ll always just be that dream. We all follow the same path - school, college, then graduate to some job you’ll spend your life trying to master while watching the people around you either grab life by the horns or sadly sink into a basic boring life. We don’t live to work, we work to live. So wake up and start living!

For many of you this might sound a bit clique, but I wanted to follow in the footsteps of Christopher McCandless - Into the Wild. To me, Chris was my idol. Yeah maybe the whole burning your life savings in a car and living in a van down by the river was a bit much, but his real goal in life was to carve his own path. “Civil Disobedience” - the refusal to comply with certain laws or to pay taxes and fines, as a peaceful form of political protest. If any of us stray from the social norms in life, the majority believe it’s the wrong decision. But is it?

We all have one life. In my life is chose to take a leap of faith. I worked my whole life to go to college and graduate with a Construction Management degree; but I’ve got a lifetime to learn the tricks of the trade. After receiving my degree I worked for several years knowing that when the time comes I was going to pull the trigger. And that was it; I made the decision to resign from my job and travel the world solo.

Now hear me out, I’m not telling you this so that you wake up and decide to quit your job (not a bad idea), but I want it to be more of an awakening. We all want to make the most of the time we have. And that’s where I come in!
