Hey everyone! Yesterday we spotted what looks like Eel grass growing on its own at a local hang out. We just wanted to bring to everyone’s attention as a reminder to not walk on these areas. FWC has been working very hard along with some volunteers to plant eel grass on Lake George and the St. Johns and this is the first time we have spotted some growing in a different area, completely on its own. This is a huge sign of hope for all of the animals and humans that rely upon this native vegetation and the health of our river ecosystem. #savetheriver
