Enjoy the end of summer on a beautiful day at a local farm and "pick your own" Tomatoes, Blueberries, Raspberries, Bean (all kinds), Peppers and more. Support local small farms and know where your food is coming from. One of the best parts of the day is tasting right off the vine or tree while picking. I think I ate more raspberry than I picked😁 .farm

Saturday mornings visit the Monroe Farmers Market for local produce, meats, honey, jams, jellies and more. Use it to cook dinner- I did. Sautéed veggies, 2 flatbreads- Arugula, goat cheese, proscuitto, blueberries or
Tomato, fresh mozzarella, basil all cooked on the grill.

A must do Christmas week visit Skytop Lodge the most beautiful decorations and the prettiest life-size gingerbread house. When you walk into the lobby the scent of gingerbread wafting in the air while the twinkle lights, Birch trees, and multiple Christmas trees are the perfect backdrop for photos. Sit by the fireplace in the library with a specialty cocktail, walk on the veranda watching the winter birds or have lunch downstairs in the Taproom. This is one of my family's favorite traditions and I can't wait for my daughters to come home to go.
