We stopped to pay our respects to men & women that were called to serve our country. Larry Clemmer lead us to the Ft Smith National Cemetery, now expanded to 32 acres, and one of three National Cemeteries in Arkansas.

A GREAT stop at the Thorncrown Chapel.
It is a woodland chapel built in 1979.
AWESOME archecture & a wonderful place to be silent with Him.

You can tell the ribs are EXCELLENT!! Dry rub had a kick, mustard coleslaw had a kick & the baked beans were to die for!! Thank you Pam Clemmer for the tip!!!

Broadway Diner ('4' in Georgia) for breakfast, Irondale Cafe ('6' in Alabama) for lunch and Charles Vergos Rendezvous ('6' in Memphis). Next we head to Beale Street.

Just two weeks before we head out on our longest journey since we went to Oregon a few years back.
Our destination is Billings, Montana.

Today we start our preparation for the 2016 Season of "Trike & Trailer Across America."
We have two special expeditions coming up.
First we will be traveling to South Carolina for the GWRRA South Carolina District Rally in July. This year, we're going to be pulling a teardrop camper, we're calling the "GEM." Photos will be posted once we take possession in two weeks.
After that we have a September adventure to Billings, Montana, the sight of Wing Ding 38, the annual gathering of the members of the Gold Wing Road Riders Association (GWRRA.) We plan on riding west with some good friends of ours. Larry & Pam Clemmer, the GWRRA Georgia District Directors and Larry & Penny Anthony, our GWRRA International Membership Enhancement Directors.
Good times, wonderful scenic areas, good friends and great eats!! Watch for photos & video.

Well, today starts another leg of our Trike & Trailer Across America journey.
After surviving a mishap with an 80 # English Bulldog, causing me to land on my right side, which totaled the trike, today I'm headed to a dealer in Upstate New York. The drive back to Florida should be colorful, although cold.
Enroute, the plan is to stop in Eufaula, AL for the GWRRA Region 'A' Rally, complete with an Order of the Red Spoon (c) ride.
I miss my partner, however, we'll meet along the way.
