Many other "Backroads" entities now exist in the WV Motorsports community, but Backroads WV was the first. Incorporated March 2019 and the page opened March 12, 2019. (originally conceptualized in early 2018) A 100% grass roots cottage business supported fully by unpaid volunteers and motorsports enthusiasts.

People in other states in our region like to throw around the term Appalachia, but West Virginia is the only state that is 100% Appalachian. WV also has the highest average elevation east of the Rockies. We are truly a Mountain State. Come see for yourself and drive some of our twisty scenic roads. You will meet the most amazing people.

DID YOU KNOW???

Geographically, there's a major difference between the Appalachian Mountains (which stretch into Maritime Canada), the Appalachian Trail (which goes from Georgia to Maine), and Appalachia.

The latter is more of a cultural distinction, and expands beyond the borders of the mountain range and into neighboring foothills and valleys. This is a great graphic depiction of the difference!

A great home grown firm re-opened by another great WV home grown company. Congratulations

Howdy folks, this is Josh, better known in association with Hawk K**b Appalachian Hard Cider. Since we broke the internet last week, we wanted to make it official and let y’all know that we are indeed firing GVBC back up! We will do our best to keep giving our dear fans updates as we move along. In short, right now we’re doing a lot of house keeping and preparing to brew as soon as we can. I’m so excited to get these great beers back on the shelves and to fire up the tap room as well. There’s work to be done though, and just to let you fine folks know, we’re not open to the public just yet. Keep your ears open though!!!
