We are tending to the urgency of our clients currently in Jamaica and clients that were to depart to Mexico due to Hurricane Beryl.

You will most likely have to leave a message when calling as we are all dedicated to assisting our clients who are in the path of the hurricane the next 24 - 48 hours.

In regards to the unrest in Haiti, it has not affected tourism in the neighboring country of the Dominican Republic.

Ironically, the Dominican Republic broke a record last month during all of this turmoil with over one million traveler's documented in February, 2024!

One thing we have noticed over the past few years are all these new “Travel Agents” and their “Agency” which is usually operated out of their home opening up out of nowhere. Sadly, it is all too easy to make monthly or annual payments to a “host” to use their credentials without any education or experience. At All About Vacations not only is travel our passion, this is our “real” full-time job; not a hobby on the side ~ with the exception of one agent whom used to be full time although with her dedication, she surely puts in just as many hours to her client’s as she does with her other job.

We operate out of a legitimate storefront Travel Agency six days a week located in Crown Point, Indiana which is approximately one hour Southeast of downtown Chicago. All About Vacations is celebrating our 15th Anniversary in 2018; we are ready to serve you with knowledge and experience. “When you go, you know...”

When deciding on using a Travel Agent or Travel Agency make sure you ask some questions. Have they been to this destination before? Do they know what there is to do outside of the resort? Have they been to the resort’s that they are quoting to you? What kind of education or Certifications do they have? Are they available 24 hours a day or while you are gone incase you have an emergency? Do they carry E&O Insurance? If you are a Bride, has your Agent had a Destination wedding her/himself? How many Destination Weddings has the Agent you are considering done in their career? Do they have references?
