Part of the Flintlock Lodge, this is a beautifully restored vacation rental, sitting on the edge of Buck Lake. as 165 feet of frontage with a 24 foot private dock, canoes and kayaks are also available for rent. We also have 16 foot bass boat that can be rented. Excellent swimming, shore is a sand, river rock mix. The cabin was hand built by a Finnish carpenter in the early 1900s, and updated with modern appliances, water and a bathroom. There is also a deck that wraps around the side and front allowing you to relax with a beautiful southerly breeze as you enjoy your morning coffee. Next to the cabin is a stone fire pit and Adirondack chairs for those evening camp fires as you are serenaded by the Loons, a bundle of complimentary firewood is supplied with additional bundles available for purchase. We are located 5 minutes from the town of Alpha, 7 miles from the town of Crystal Falls, 10 miles from Florence Wisconsin, 20 miles from the town of Iron River, and 30 miles from Iron Mountain, Michigan. Amenities include a LED TV with Direct TV, DVD player, electricity, hot water, a full bathroom with toilet, standing shower and sink, a private bedroom with a furnished full size bed, a small refrigerator, beverage fridge, sink, stove, microwave, coffee pot, dishware, pots, pans and a Propane grill. Towels are not provided. Two cots are available providing a max sleeping capacity of four.
