Been a while since I’ve been fishing so decided to see if any sheeps have shown up yet. Funny story…we show up at the first spot 10 miles from the ramp and I hear “where’s the shrimp”….then it hits me we were so excited we left the bucket in my truck bed!!!! After staring into the distance for 10 minutes we decided we have to go back…now that we’re starting over we lost a good chunk of time when I wanted to spot hop a lot today. We hit just about everything and saw a few sheeps at each spot but they’re definitely not grouped up yet. So definitely wait till after Jan 10 to go looking for them. We caught many grouper and a few sheeps here and there. Ran to some closer numbers 7-8 miles out to see if they were in closer and Brian hooks into something huge! We all thought it was a 28” Gag that rocked him 3 times, we couldn’t believe It was the biggest hogfish any of us have ever seen! And it’s the first hogfish Brians ever caught! We caught 4 hogfish 2 keepers on the day 4-5 sheepshead and threw in the towel. Hit a trout spot heading back and in 10 minutes got 3 keepers in the box so it was a nice ending to a beautiful day on the water

Another epic Trout bite on outgoing tide then went exploring for Big Uglies and Redfish. Big Reds were hard to find but we found some shorts to play with and finished it off with a Tailing 37” Drum in the backwater. Even added 3 Drum 15-24” while Redfishing

Been trying to get out with my buddy Jack for a couple weeks now we finally got to go and had a great time! Plenty of big Sand/Silver Trout, Redfish, Black Drum, Snook and even caught a big 17” Flounder to finish the full slam which was released. Turned into a beautiful day

WE GOT THE MEAT today! Caught 20 reds 10 drum before hammering 30+ nice trout. The quality 17-23” Black Drum made up for the lack of slot reds but we had a blast trying. Found some healthy 16-18” trout schooled up then filled the cooler with 14-16” sand trout. People are always amazed how big the sand/silver trout are here. They’re not your typical 10-12”ers people think of when they talk about sand/silver trout they’re almost the same size as keeper seatrout and 10x more fun to catch and no limit beside 100lbs that’ll you’ll never get lol had to post the little snook for another back to back “slam” lol

The bite has been epic the last few weeks but I don’t even know what to call today. Day before the hurricane so I had to go get my boat out of the water, told my buddy Brian we have to go hammer them one more time. They were waiting for us at every single point we hit we kept moving to keep finding new fish and the bite never stopped even fishing new spots the entire way. Boated easily over 60 Redfish 25 of them being mid to top slot beautiful Redfish, 5 being fat over slots and another 20 being 17-19” and probably 10 d***s 14-17” at the first stop then nice ones the rest of the way. Ran out of bait several times and started using any scraps we could find. 50 on Shrimp and then got 10 or so on Ladyfish at the end. Hope to be able to locate them again after this storm passes.

Went from I’ve never caught a Redfish to catching perfect tournament 27s like it was nothin this morning. Caught 40+ Redfish in 1.5 hrs then went and played with big Black Drum for more fun. Didn’t take many pics since they all look the same lol Pretty epic pre storm bite

Every year September is known to be our Big fish month so it’s no surprise to get amazing photo opportunities with these giant drum we have. Full moon current has been ripping and making it difficult but we put together solid numbers of big Reds, Big Drum and went 2/4 on nice Tripletail.

And of course all were caught on Shrimp which for some reason nobody wants to believe me that it’s all I use.

Pretty epic bite this afternoon! Mark had his 25” Red in the box by 8am so we played with Drum all outgoing tide untill about 12:30 biggest being around 35” and added several 15-18” for the box. Once we started Redfishing the incoming tide it was obvious right away we were about to have some fun. We caught a nice Redfish every cast til we ran out of Shrimp! Lost cost around 30 Redfish with 4-5 overslots biggest only being 29” but it was a lot of fun with a school of healthy Redfish

Another excellent bite this morning with healthy top slot Redfish run of 25-27”ers. Eric managed to pull his pb overslot red out of the school before the bite was over. Then we found some Big drum to tug on and some medium sized ones to bring home. Had a good variety of croakers and sand trout to add to the box before heading in. All in all it was a great day with beautiful overcast weather and as always every fish was caught on Shrimp from Hook Line and Sinker!

We started off with a bang and we were pretty much happy all day long with whatever came our way. Taking a nice break from the rain under nearby cover didn’t even phase us. We had a great time start to finish catching plenty of Redfish with several 25-27” and a ton of Black drum 13-20” and several more 30-35”. Gave away some trout and whiting to people fishing at the dock since we had plenty of fish in the box to spare. Love when it’s an easy day and I got to enjoy nice overcast weather again!

Went from looking for big reds to an inshore meat haul. We caught a little bit of everything today. 15 Redfish of all sizes, 12 small Black Drum and 3 big ones, couple chunky trout and a nice 16” flounder to add to the cooler. Had great overcast weather and thankfully just missed the rain.

Had a super challenging low water Redfish giving us the middle finger kind of day. Luckily the Black Drum big and small and the rat reds mixed in made it fun. Can’t wait to get after them again on a good morning incoming tide

Been a minute since I’ve been on the water so I used my friends that go every year for Jessica’s birthday to see how things are going. Started off with a 33” Black Drum within 5 minutes then went and caught 15-20 reds pretty easy but no monsters today. Ended up with 6 reds 19-22”. It got too hot to fish calm water so we decided to go catch some Tripletail. First one we saw was 25”+ and ghosted us, then 2nd one we get in is a nice 19”. 3rd one is another monster around 21-22” and it falls off at the boat after a couple jumps. We search a little longer and sure enough get a nice 21.5” tripletail in the box. Very cool to see 4 big Tripletail with only searching for 20 minutes total including fighting them. They asked to catch some smaller drum and we found a pile of them too! Ended up with 5 16-24” Black Drum and released another 10 including a couple more over 30”. Bite was pretty great, weather was great besides the heat for a short period and we all had a great time.

Got some nice Redfish right off the bat this morning then released another 7 or so then looked for Tripletail and went 0-1 unfortunately. Switched up to trout, caught alot of shorts today with 5 bigger sand trout and a couple big seatrout to come home with us. Landed a nice 29” black drum and called it a day, and once again all on shrimp! Thankful for beautiful weather today

Another well rounded day, we did everything I wanted for these guys. Started with a beautiful 35” Snook and a 32” BlackDrum and even got some nice Redfish all before 8am! Knew getting a slam was going to be a piece of cake now so we went and played with Trout till the tide came in some. Found a pile of 13” trout and only a few keepers but they didn’t want to keep many anyways. Now it’s only 930am and I didn’t want to go for reds till 11 so we figured why not go catch some Tripletail! Neither of them caught one before and sure enough found one and caught one within a minute of looking! Now tide is up so we shot in for reds and found a lot of shorts with a couple slot fish here and there nothing too exciting. Finished the Redfish hunt with a nice overslot and a limit and headed back early. Love when we get to do everything and a plan comes together!

Oh and the best part everything was caught on a Shrimp from Hook Line and Sinker bait shop!
