Today was just one of those days….. where the fish just kept eating and eating! We limited out on 4 man black drum then found our 4 man redfish limit. The super high winds made the trout fishing a bit tough but added a few to the box. Saw a few triple tail but they spooked and got away for another day. We did manage to snag a big mullet to finish off the box for the day! Mark was so thoughtful as I am for some reason always hurting myself that he gifted me a first aid kit with a few creams to go along with it 😂 we finished our day off with some of our fresh catch with some great laughs and conversations 😁

The high winds made it a little bumpy but kept us from sweating all day. First fish of the day was this beautiful 30inch redfish followed by other redfish, black drum and sea trout!

Marilee and I haven’t fished together since I first started guiding 4 1/2 years ago and today was just as good, if not better than the trip we had years ago on my old aluminum Duracraft boat 😉

Couldn’t have asked for a better half day morning trip of catching with an awesome crew! The northeast wind kept it beautiful out with the overcast skies and more fish than we can count were caught! I have only couple dates left in August and in September!

Big fish of the day and the first fish of the day at 29inches! Denise had to work fast in getting this big girl in the boat as a shark tried to eat part of it as a snack. I would like to note that on August 13 with a water temperature of 90 degrees…. She did not catch one single catfish today! Quite unheard of this time of the year while throwing shrimp all day 😝

Denise had a catching day on today’s trip! She easily caught herself a 4 person limit of trout and redfish. The breeze kept us a little cooler for most of the day and the action kept us busy 😁

Outdoor Addicts fish Venice, Louisiana often and with their first time visit to Crystal River, Florida they wanted to catch something they won’t catch there and I knew what that entailed… so we got our two man limit of hogfish and some amazing porgies to eat! We filleted them up and had our wasabi and soy sauce ready for them sashimi style right on the table!

March 2024…. I am entering my 4th year as a full time, female fishing guide on Florida’s Nature Coast! What an incredible journey it has been! I have more exciting news to share in the next few days but I wanted to take a moment to share my story in the video. When you laugh so hard at your buddy… you’re crying 😂 this video explains our FUN fishing trip today! These active duty soldiers had a blast and I had so much fun with them on the boat! It was warm, calm and just pure beautiful out on the Gulf! We caught plenty of fish and laughed way too hard.
