What a day! I’ve spent many years chasing after a fish like this along the nature coast and today my good buddy was able to connect on a fish that I may never see in the shallows of crystal river again. A true crystal river dinosaur coming in at 41”. Congratulations my friend on one hell of a fish!

It’s that time of year we had a nice weather window and slid out to about 20ft to catch and release grouper but decided to make a few drops for some grocery’s and were rewarded with a nice limit of hogs!

A stellar weekend fishing the we slipped up a little bit on day two and a few bad decisions that I wish we had back but that’s tournament fishing all in all a great weekend with the family in the hatch we will start getting prepared for next year and come back with a fire inside for the next big win.

Tomorrow is the day 15 days straight of grinding out gag grouper fishing, unfortunately our season was cut short but I’m really looking forward to October and November to see some of the best catch and release fishing in the country.

Getting ready to send out close to 1,000 hot meals from now until dark Keaton beach, old homosassa then yankeetown 5-5:30 and ozello 5:30 tons of good meals!!
