Cold weather, the better! Today in the Bay we were very fortunate to spend time with these sweet potatoes Normally manatees are solitary creatures, yet during these cold winter months Kings Bay hosts multiple groups of manatees at a time! ❄️

Manatees and Springs, oh my! 🌊 Even with the colder weather approaching, nothing beats a day swimming alongside these gentle giants! When in doubt , float it out! 😎

While swimming with manatees we always practice passive observation, while floating calmly at the surface with a pool noodle which makes the manatees feel the most comfortable.

They will sometimes swim underneath us or right next to us! The best thing to do when this happens is to remain calm and quiet and enjoy the special moment! 😊💚
