They offer over 800 designs to choose from with an array of paint colors that you can mix and match. They have holiday designs, as well as kitchen decor, and a plethora of anything you can imagine. All the designs make great gifts, but you'll also come away with a fabulous experience of creating the gift by hand. If you're visiting, don't despair, you can paint your design, and then the Artsea Alcove can ship it anywhere. The design price comes with paint, and the time you need to finish the project, but there is no rush, so you can take your time.

It's a fun experience for families, or friends, where teams solve puzzles to escape themed rooms within a 1-hour time limit. Each room is designed around a specific subject with key tasks that need to be completed to escape the room. It's challenging and fun all at the same time.

Ferris Groves is now open for the Winter Season. If you have never been to Ferris Groves before, you must make time during your next visit to Citrus County. Established in 1930, Ferris Groves is an iconic farm stand that still maintains all of its old Florida Charm. It's right off the lovely Withlacoochee Trail, and it's an absolutely fantastic pit-stop either by bicycle or car. They offer an old-fashioned gift shop and market filled with tons of sweet, as well as savory goodies. They sell adorable Ferris Groves merchandise, and authentic Florida souvenirs with a vintage flair. They are known for their fresh orange and strawberry milkshakes, (a must) along with their beautiful park-like grounds. If you would like to picnic, they have everything you need for lunch, with sandwiches, snacks, and drinks on hand. On the weekends they have a variety of food trucks to make your stop even more delicious. Step back in time and explore beautiful Ferris Groves in charming Floral City!

We are moving Manatee Monday, to Manatee Tuesday, so tonight we'll be celebrating Liberty Park, and the spectacular sunrises (and sunsets too) that can be experienced from the banks of Henderson Lake. Liberty Park is situated right on the Withlacoochee trail, with nearby bike rentals, and The Train Station, a unique cafe that comes complete with games and duckpin bowling. Liberty Park is just a few minutes away from downtown, so it's close to all the restaurants and shops that Inverness has to offer. Friday, Dec. 6th, they are playing the Grinch that stole Christmas, movies in the park. This weekend they are having Market at the Depot on Saturday, the 7th, located in Liberty Park, great for holiday shopping. And don't miss Light Up Liberty, Dec. 7th, at night, a free Holiday event for the entire family taking place at Liberty Park. When visiting Citrus County, do not pass up the opportunity to see how beautiful Liberty Park is in person.

On the first Manatee Monday of this year's Manatee Season, we had to share this fantastic video created by Choose Love Blog.They did a marvelous job of capturing what spending time in Crystal River during manatee Season is all about. They took a wonderful manatee snorkeling trip with Explorida, an experienced tour company in the heart of downtown Crystal River. Manatee Season runs from Nov. 15th to March 31st. Check it off your bucket list this winter!

This amazing new distillery is just oozing with charm, it includes tours and tastings, Bottles to go, and handcrafted cocktails. They sell appetizers to go with your drinks, and weekends serve up a variety of food trucks, plus they even have delicious mocktails on their menu as well. They have a lovely outdoor patio, along with super cozy interior decor. When you're in Citrus County, definitely stop by the Homosassa Distillery Co. in Homosassa. You will not be disappointed!

Due to hurricane Milton, our walk-in visitor center will be closed today. We hope to open our doors and welcome you back to our fabulous County as soon as possible. (fingers crossed it’s tomorrow or at the latest Monday.) Look for updates in the near future.

We continue to pray for those impacted by hurricane Milton to the south of us and the entire State Of Florida. Citrus County was fortunate in the wake of hurricane Milton. As you can imagine we are still assessing the damage, but it appears we did not get the worst of this powerful storm.
