Good evening from Cuchara! 🔥😊 Here’s a video from this morning when we woke up to about 18” of heavy wet snow and no power. The hummingbird in the video had dug her way through to the nectar, amazingly it was not frozen! 🥶❤️ Such a peaceful day here just tending to the fire, making coffee & breakfast on the bbq grill, visiting with the neighbors and of course, shoveling. A beautiful day… fairly warm, with quickly melting snow and the sun occasionally peeking through the clouds. 🌤️❄️😀 After 9 hours without power, it was restored at 3:40 this afternoon. We are so very thankful to all the hard-working men & women at San Isabel Electric for getting our power restored! We know they are still working on getting power to other folks in the area.
