And here is the highlight of our trip, the main purpose and goal! THE NORTHERN LIGHTS! I am beyond happy to report that it was accomplished on our very first night in Kiruna. We were so very lucky to have a moonless, cloudless night guaranteeing the most amazing spectacle of the Northern Lights. It was overwhelming and deeply moving. The photos are not crystal clear because they were done with our own phones. There was a professional photographer with us and his pictures are amazing but the photo lens is much stronger than the human eye, and they look way too colorful compared to what you actually see. Ladies and gentlemen, I give you Aurora Borealis in all her might and glamour!@highlight
