Happy New Year, and heartfelt thanks to all those showing support and following this META page! If you like steam-era action and colorful freight trains in operation, then you'll enjoy this re-creation of the New York Central's iconic J1e Hudson pulling its heavy freight, while a mighty L-3A Mohawk provides express 'Milk & Dairy' service along the 'water level route'. It's all rendered in 1/48 O-scale on a detailed layout which showcases a well-remembered time in America during the 1950's. More massive heavy freight action and dazzling passenger service in O-gauge, on the hi-rail as you like it in this newest video from the Silver Rail Club! In this video you'll see two rail-fan favorites from the north east corridor the sleek PRR 'Broadway Limited' and the M1a mountain locomotive pulling its long 'coast-to-coast tender and a colorful freight consist with a few surprises towards the end. There's an incredible amount of action going on in this O-Gauge model train display that's been pleasing crowds for years! Always fresh, full of fun, with iconic hi-rail activity, now there's even more as Carrera slot-cars race through the streets of a classic 1950's town in a 'Gumball Rally' that just goes on and on! There are plenty of 'Easter eggs' in this display too, and of course, lots of detailed, great looking, fun to run model trains, on the tracks, for YOU to enjoy. The Silver Rail Club's MTH Burlington Zeyphr pulls out of the station on their display which is set up for the 44th Annual Model Train Show being held at the Science Museum of Virginia from November 26th through the 28th, 2021. The SRC of RVA and the founding chapter of the SRC have combined their sets into a 6'x32' layout which will feature several trains from the steam and diesel era, and the slot car action of Activ-Motorama!

This is it! The video you've been waiting for, with plenty of O-gauge hi-rail action, and scenic detail as you like it! Two great trains are highlighted for you to enjoy: a long heavy freight, scale sized, and headed up by a massive SF 4-8-4 Northern with its long oil tender and a classic streamlined aluminum passenger set headed up by the iconic A-B-A F7 diesels, finished in their classic 'warbonnet' paint scheme.
