The Evening Lighting Ceremony at Mount Rushmore National Memorial is back this Friday!
Make plans to join us for the National Park Service's most attended evening program - the Mount Rushmore National Memorial Evening Lighting Ceremony. This program takes place each night during the summer and begins with a ranger talk, continues with the film "Freedom: America's Lasting Legacy" (captioned) and culminates with the retiring of the American flag by our country's service men and women, the singing of the National Anthem, and the lighting of the sculpture.
May 24 - August 10 beginning at 9:00 p.m.
August 13 - September 30 beginning at 8:00 p.m.
You won't want to miss this deeply moving and patriotic event. Plan your stop to see this national monument in a whole new light.
