#349 - The Festival of the Firs continues this weekend on Hood Canal! Head to Hoodsport, Washington for Christmas caroling and live music on Saturday, December 16th starting at 5pm. There will be lots of activities for the whole family including crafts, Santa, hot drinks, shopping, games, and a magical display of firs! The event begins at YSS Dive, with visits to shops along the way including Potlatch Brewery, Octopus Galley, Stottle Winery, Canalside, The Hardware Distillery, and ends at the Fjord Oyster Bank with live music & oysters. Dedicated to the rivers and fish of the Methow Valley, and to the Native people, past and present, who have called this place home for generations.
