Each month is a different book and lively discussion. Copies of the book can be picked up at Center Library. You must be a library account holder to sign out a copy.

Our 39th President of the United States, Jimmy Carter, has passed away at the age of 100.

President Carter was a supporter of libraries, saw the importance of library and information services and a future where libraries would become important for information access.

In 1979, President Carter opened the first White House Conference on Library and Information Services stating that "libraries must be strengthened and the public made more aware of their potential: Libraries can be community resources for the consumer and small business on matters such as energy and marketing and technological innovation."

His continued support lead to him being awarded an American Library Association Honorary Membership in 1994.

Beginning in January, Center Library is introducing a monthly lunch-and-learn series focused on different technology-related topics. The first session will be held on January 23 and will cover the basics of 3D printing. Participants will learn about the types of 3D printers, how to use CAD software to design projects, and more! Although light refreshments will provided, participants are encouraged to bring their own meals. Registration is not required, but it is recommended.
