Hesitant to pull your kids out of school to visit Walt Disney World during an off season? There are lots of ways to make your Disney vacation educational! Here's just a few:
World Showcase: Cast Members are cultural representatives from each country and LOVE to chat with guests about their homes. Kidcot packets have some tasks to complete while touring each pavilion to make it fun.
The Seas with Nemo and Friends: Finding Dory's Friends scavenger hunt is a fun activity the whole family will enjoy.
You'll learn all about the creatures living here and the environment that they call home.
The Hall of Presidents and The American Adventure:
American history literally comes to life at both of these attractions. Encourage your kiddos to be on the lookout for their favorite presidents or recap important moments, you'll just might find they absorbed more than you realized! And you'll appreciate the air conditioning!

👀 Whether you're taking in the sights on the Kilimanjaro Safaris or booking one of the exclusive behind-the-scenes tours, Animal Kingdom offers a chance to experience elephants and rhinos in the wild!

🐻 Phew, that was a close call! The Country Bears are back and better than ever! Big Al, Henry and the rest of the gang just recently got a makeover and are bringing the house down once again with a brand new set list that almost everyone can sing along to.
🪕 If you're a big fan of the original Jamboree, don't worry, the heart of the show, its charm and humor are all still very much there. The newer tunes help to keep these sweet bears relevant for today's audiences.

Disney magic isn't just something you see, it's something you experience. A PRIME example of that is Space 220 in EPCOT, where Disney Imagineers have taken dining to a whole new level-literally! Your dining journey begins with an incredible simulated space elevator ride that'll leave you wide-eyed, no matter your age. It's a one-of-a-kind experience that feels so real, you might forget for a second that you're still on Earth!
Whether you choose to dine in the lounge or the main restaurant, the immersion is the same. It's really so captivating, with the panoramic and ever-changing views of outer space and cameos by astronauts (and even a dog), everyone will have fun looking to see who pops up next! While the lounge and main menus offer some really tasty options (try the cauliflower and a fun drink at least!), the ambiance is the real STAR!

Céntrico, in the heart of Disneyland's Downtown Disney, might be known for its flavorful Mexican dishes, but PLOT TWIST, their burger is an absolute must-try. Yep, I said it, order a burger at a Mexican restaurant. Don't get me wrong, their entire menu is full of irresistible, fresh and flavorful dishes (and margaritas), but let's be honest, sometimes only a burger can hit the spot and this one does! Wagyu beef, gruyere cheese, pickled beets, tomato, truffle aioli and black truffle sauce on a brioche bun...chef's kiss!

The "Hey Disney!" voice activated assistance device adds a little extra pixie dust to your Disney resort hotel room! Basically an Echo with its ears on, it can do a myriad of fun and helpful tasks at Walt Disney World or Disneyland Resort. Things like:

Groovy, rad, boogie down man! Disneys Pop Century Resort has always been a popular Value Resort since it opened in late 2003 and for good reason. Check these features out!
• Skyliner Access: A quick ride to both Hollywood Studios and EPCOT (and other resorts)?! Yes, please!
• Affordability: Don't let the "value" part of Value Resort fool you; it's a top notch property with lots of fun activities and amenities.
• New-ish Rooms: Queen beds, laminate floors, modern bathrooms, and tons of storage space will make you never want to go back to carpet and double beds!
• Food Court: Grab breakfast, lunch, and dinner at Everything POP. You'll find classics like salmon, pasta, burgers, pizza, sandwiches, and salads.
• Nostalgia + Disney Favorites: The theming and decor is perfect for those multi-generational trips! The grandparents will love the 50s, 60s, and 70s sections. The parents will love the 80s and 90s. Theme parks might be too much for grandparents and the beach isn't everyone's idea of fun, but you know what's a crowd pleaser for every age? Disney Cruise Line! Here's why your whole family will love it:
• There's something for everyone. Family pools, kids clubs, adult-only dining and spaces, family-friendly nighttime shows, crafts, movies, character meet and greets - EVERYONE will have their share of fun onboard!
• It feels all-inclusive. You could walk aboard with your room, food, gratuities, and excursions paid for. (Alcoholic and specialty drinks are an additional charge).
• You don't have to constantly repack, yet you will wake up in a new port daily. It's an amazing way to see a lot but have all the traveling done for you while you sleep!

Hold onto your hats (and steering wheels), folks! Mr. Toad's Wild Ride at Disneyland is still as wacky and wild as ever! This quirky fan favorite has been taking us on a bizarre journey through Toad Hall (and beyond) for decades now. The story is a little odd, OK a lot odd, but that's part of its charm, right?
With all the newer high-tech rides now, maybe this feisty old-school character keeps us grounded in nostalgia and reminds us that attractions like this were once innovative and we were in awe of them. Or is it time to make way for something new in Fantasyland?

The EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival is now in full swing so let's chat a little about those food kiosk offerings.
Not everyone is a foodie and some of those menu items can sound a little scary. For the less adventurous, here's a list of more simple small plates I think you'll enjoy:
Canada: Cheddar Cheese Soup
Macatizers: Classic Mac and Cheese
Fry Basket: Fry Flight and Fried Pickle Spears
Belgium: Beer-Braised Beef and Smoked Gouda Mashed Potatoes
Greece: Spanikopita (Spinach and Cheese in a flaky pastry)

If you've ever dreamed of braving the wilds of the jungle but know deep down you're more of a theme park snacker than a survivalist, the Wild Africa Trek tour at Disney's Animal Kingdom is probably for you.
On this totally safe and exhilarating tour, you can channel your inner explorer without, you know, actually having to go to Africa. Swing over crocodile-filled rivers (safely harnessed, of course), get up close and personal with some amazing wildlife, enjoy snacks on the savanna and your very own guide/personal photographer. It's 3 hours you will never forget!

Hurricanes, tropical storms, and tropical depressions, OH MY!
Cruising during hurricane season will give you the lowest prices, but there's a reason for that. If this is the best time of year for you and your crew, here are a few helpful tips:
• Hurricane season officially goes from June through
November. If you are considering August, September, and October, just know you are likely looking at the highest possibility of weather issues. Sailings out of Florida to the Caribbean will be the sailings most impacted.
• Get travel protection! Just do it - no matter when you sail
• Book flights early in the day for less chance of cancellations or delays. Also arrive at least one day before embarkation day, just in case flights get canceled. You may find you have to hop in a car and hit the road!
• Go with the flow! Cruise lines reallilly don't want to cancel sailings, so they will do all they can to avoid that including changing itineraries to avoid weather issues.
