Reason ONE MILLION why you should use a Disney planner...

This morning was a client's dining booking window opening, so naturally we were up at 5:45 with a two-pronged plan of attack. The clock struck 6, we started off strong...and realized the app was buggy, the calendar wasn't extending for their full trip, and one of their most desired dining options would be closed on the day they requested. Yet with a bit more work on my end, we got all eleven of her dining requests checked off, a few days reworked to fit everything in, and added a family meal to boot. Good job to my client for scoring her first reservation (and good job us for not panicking when EVERYTHING seemed to fail!).

Ignoring any pre-Monday blues by looking at Disney photos and I was reminded of these AMAZING churro waffles! They're an upgrade from the standard Mickey waffle: fried up and coated with delicious cinnamon sugar.

Getting them is so simple! When you're aboard any ship, you can let your dinner server know that you'd like the at breakfast the next morning and they'll bring them to your table wherever you are at breakfast- even at the buffet-style Marceline Market on the ! Simply find a server with an earpiece and they'll bring them right to you. Then fight your family for the last one.

Happy Monday! Today I wanna introduce you to one of the most magical experiences on board the Wish that every guest gets to be a part of - the dining experience at Arendelle!

Even before entering the dining room, you're immersed into the film walking alongside the iconic portraits from the castle ("Hang in there, Joan!"). The tables inside surround a stage where folk musicians and beloved characters perform multiple numbers before walking through the room to greet the guests who've been invited to celebrate Anna and Kristoff's engagement - ask Anna and she may show you her ring! Kristoff sure knows his ice 😉

The dining is a great combination of elegant Scandinavian-inspired and more familiar cuisine. The scallops came highly recommended and are served in a puff pastry that wowed diners at almost every table. I found some of the portions to be smaller than expected, but when you're welcome to order as much as you want from appetizer, salad, entree, and dessert, maybe smaller is better!

All in all, we really enjoyed the Arendelle experience and it was a great first night restaurant on the Wish! Have you been invited to visit these Frozen friends? Let me know what you think!

Ahoy, friends! We're back from our first voyage on the and I'm so excited to share some of our family's memories, finds, and fun! Over the next week (or two; we did a LOT in just four days), expect to see a bunch of reviews, tips and tricks, and more. I'll even be sharing a fun scavenger hunt starting today at noon. Finally hitting y'all up with that promised review! We did not sit in the (womp womp) but got a lovely large table for our party of ten inside near the bar. The ambiance was super cool with lots of things to see (including some neat postcards framed near our table that were signed by himself!), and had the outside patio had space it would've been a nice option too. All the drinks were delish. We got the Shorty's Singapore Sling (good taste and a healthy pour but a bit smaller than expected) and two zero proof drinks - the Antidote (a Shirley Temple) and the Diving Bell (a watermelon lemonade). My dad got the whiskey flight and the rest got beers. For bites, we got the Chicken on the Egg deviled eggs, the Snakebite Sliders, and the Air Pirate's Cargo Loaded Pretzel. The eggs were an awesome spicy bite and so cute served in a plane. We were not impressed by the sliders, especially since it only came with two. The pretzel was a great shareable option and was a LOT of food for $22. Would I go back? Tbh, probably not. It was a good time but the prices, while normal inside a Disney property, made a return visit not easy on the pocketbook, and none of the dishes or drinks wowed us so much that we'd have to come back for them. Let's talk souvenirs. Those suckers are EXPENSIVE. You gotta haul em all over the park because if you find it in one place, you might never find it again. And as much as I love a good pair of Mickey ears, they sit on a shelf when I come home, begging me to book another trip (soon, my babies, soon). But this? THIS is the primo of souvenirs. A beautiful silhouette done right in front of you! Expensive? No ma'am. $30 INCLUDING the frame. Only in one location? Nope. You can get it in the Arribas Brothers store in Disney Springs as well as in Magic Kingdom. Sitting on a shelf? Well, technically, but that's the reason for it, to sit up there and beautify your space and capture a precious moment in time.

For anyone with kiddos (or just picky eaters), even the most swanky of restaurants has a kids section that anyone can eat from! This was last night at Cape May Cafe at the Beach Club Resort, a seafood buffet. Kids buffet section included pizza, spaghetti and meatballs, buttered noodles, chicken nuggets, and mac and cheese!
