They have worked in some of Europe and America’s most prestigious venues, including Circus Knie in Switzerland, Circus Flic-Flac in Germany, the Circus-Theater Carré in Amsterdam, the Cirque d’Hiver-Bouglione in Paris, and “Jubilee!” in Las Vegas.

Born in Odessa in what was then the Soviet Union, Peter Dubinsky is a graduate with honors of Moscow’s Theatrical Institute, and became director of the Moscow Circus international tours, which he presented over 70 countries. He settled in the U.S. in Florida more than 30 years ago, where he founded Firebird Productions, Inc., which provides performers for such venues as Walt Disney World and Disney’s EPCOT, Busch Gardens, Tampa Bay, Beau Rivage Casino USA, Cirque du Soleil, Tokyo’s DisneySea, Japan’s Universal Studios, Chimelong Zhuhai International Circus in China, and many others around the world. He has served on the juries of international circus festivals in Italy, Spain, Hungary, France, China, Russia, Ukraine, Vietnam, Chili, Mexico, Israel, and Brazil.

Regina is fifth generation of France’s premier circus dynasty, the Bougliones, owners of Paris’ legendary Cirque d’Hiver – the world’s oldest and most beautiful circus building, build in 1852. A very versatile, beautiful, and talented artist, Regina has presented (and still does) a wide variety of acts during her brilliant career, both in her family’s circuses and abroad. (In the USA, she was featured in Feld Entertainment’s production of “Barnum’s Kaleidoscape.”) She is also the creator of the magnificent costumes that grace every year the Cirque d’Hiver productions, a remarkable talent.

Did you know… about the two circus festivals in the United States this March? While Europe has numerous circus festivals and January is especially replete with some of the top festivals—- International Circus Festival of Monte Carlo, Cirque de Demain in France and the Budapest Circus Festival—-America has not been known for this competitive circus phenomenon. These European festivals are popular, well-attended, and important events for the international circus community. While the American Youth Circus Organization has been holding a biennial festival for many years, it has not been a competition, like the majority of European circus festivals are. VIVA Fest , founded by Michael Rice, started in Las Vegas in 2017, will be held March 12-17 in 2024. This is the second year of the American Circus Festival, founded by F***y Kerwich and started at Lone Star Circus, is happening this year on March 26 and 27. Will these two, relatively new, American circus festivals become part of the international circus festival circuit? Time will tell!
