"Quality Matters." It’s especially true in today's digital world where public and elected officials must meticulously restore and preserve original public documents - many dating back to sovereignty - and ensure records are legible and protected as they are imaged, digitized, and brought online for public access and use. As many officials have found out the hard way, critical records management is more than scanning to copy and image records.

To understand the quality challenge, read about the public records' digitization journey led by Dan McPhillips, Recorder of Deeds, and officials serving Bucks County, PA. Link in the comments.

These documents contain vital information about individuals, families, and communities, such as names, ages, occupations, and places of residence. Preserving these records ensures that they remain accessible for research, helping us understand our collective history better.
