Once again, I have had the great pleasure of working with my long-time friend and partner, Gerald Hinde, to produce a piece of work with which we are really happy in Safari Secrets.
With the intervening pandemic, this project took on many different guises as it evolved, and ultimately we wanted to not only showcase some amazing wildlife photographs and share stories of our adventures but also provide value for the reader in the form of advice on both locating animals and taking photographs of them.
My role as a conservationist and ranger was to teach some basic bush skills and ways to maximize your chances of encountering and photographing the Big Five. Gerald then gives advice on how best to capture these magnificent creatures - sharing technical photographic secrets and the artistry of getting the best images.
