In the Thai Highlands near the border with Myanmar visiting tea plantations. The highlands with elevations of up to 6,000 feet are the foothills of the Himalayas. The oolongs grown in this tropical region are sublime. Our journey began at the 101 Tea Plantation, which grows organic high mountain tea. The oolongs we tasted were nuanced and varied. Delicious!
