PARIS IN THE SUMMER! There’s no better time to visit Paris than in the Summertime, one of the greatest attractions is seeing the Eiffel Tower ✨!
Top tips to save:
1. The @toureiffelofficielle sparkles for 5 minutes at the start of each hour after dusk! Note: the sun goes down about 9:30/10:00 PM in Paris in July/August, so the first sparkle usually happens at 11:00PM.
2. Where to watch — our favourite itinerary for the tower is booking tickets for about 9:30 PM, that allows you to see the sun set on Paris. By the time you get down, you can sit in Champs de Mars Gardens!
3. Best place for pictures — Trocadéro, is the most famous place to take pictures with the tower but it gets BUSY. We recommend Pont de Bir Hakeim, about a 10 min walk west of the Tower to take the best pictures. You’ll get a side profile of the tower.
4. Plan strategically! You only get 5 minutes so take all the pictures and videos you can.
