Our adventure this week starts off on the beautifully isolated island of Rangiroa.  It is about 208 miles northeast of Tahiti   Ot is also the largest atoll in the Tuamotus and one of the largest in the world.  Rangiroa is known as the 'vast sky'.

It is a mecca for divers & snorkeling, with a diversity of marine life that is truly spectacular: manta rays, dolphins, sharks, napoleonfish…etc. The vast turquoise and blue lagoon has a multitude of small motu, including one with pink sand.  Rangiroa has plenty of treasures for you to discover both at sea and on land.

Do you know the difference from being a Wanderluster versus a tourist.

A travel Wanderlsuter takes each travel mishap/glitch with stride and knows the World sometimes does not agree with your plans but a Wanderluster rolls with the changes as an opportunity for something else new or re-visiting favorite areas from the last time you were there. A tourist would allow a mishap/glitch to ruin atleast that part of their visit/vacation.

Travel plans do not always go as planned,but the ADVENTURE will always be there if you embrace the opportunity.

Follow us this week, as I welcome back everyone to experience the Islands of Tahiti (French Polynesian Islands). 2018 was the last time CTCTravel visited the Islands for an in-person site inspection of the resorts, the various Islands (121 individual islands total -- not just BoraBora, Moorea, etc) and activities.
