ST9 Oil & Gas in Houston this past week.

Since most zombies don’t speak, we added a display backpack with motion graphics to engage the non zombies at the event. The result? Let's just say that the zombie was the hit of the show.

Janimation was called on to produce what they consider “nasty gross stuff”. Fortunately, they are extremely good at it.
A new documentary titled “Plague at the Golden Gate” (coming soon) required unique and disgusting visual storytelling. Janimation was asked to show the cross section of a rat flea to show the differences between an Asian Rat Flea and a Northern Rat Flea. The difference is what spread the plague. When the flea would bite, blood was ingested into its stomach. The stomach would then contract pushing the infected blood back into the bite.
Did you know? The San Francisco plague of 1900–1904 was an epidemic of bubonic plague centered on San Francisco's Chinatown. It was the first plague epidemic in the continental United States.

This is still one of my favorite images from an epic shoot for Black Ops. Richard Krall was the DP and was in his element that day. Jordan Wollman Mikon Haaksman pew, pew
