We have the calendar open for Bog Dam Room only.
Going forward, only the Big Dam Room will be rented out for short stays. The main house will have a new purpose very soon.
For now, booking directly with us is always best but you can find us on VRBO or Airbnb as well.

Hot water has been restored! Thanks to Pat from The Dancing Bear Inn. They sustained more than enough damage and yet he made time to hook up a new heater for me. Pat and Elizabeth are good people.

We are NOT renting out the main house. I’ve had several folks ask. Currently, I’m using it as storage for the items that were untouched by flood waters at Junkin' Shenanigans.
Big Dam Room will be available soon, we are open to longer stays if working to rebuild our town.

One casualty for us was the hot water heater. I had a friend pick it up off the basement floor and reattach plumbing and electrical. Still not working.
Either it’s not getting power, or I need a new heating element.
Recommendations for someone available to fix this for me?

We survived! No water inside the house, basement yes but that’s always how it is when there’s a river across the road.
Power and water restored yesterday.
However, the hot water heater was a casualty. So I can’t offer hot showers or laundry like I had hoped.

Want total privacy without a whole lot of expense? Select the Big Dam Room, sleeps 2 for $150/night. Laundry, kitchenette, private bath, dining area, workspace area (In case work must follow), and a comfortable couch to watch tv.

In the main house I currently have a private room with a queen bed available and 2 beds in a shared room open.
