Visit Jefferson County has partnered with Nine Lakes of East Tennessee and organizations across East Tennessee to host a cleanup day at multiple locations on Douglas Lake to help kickstart cleanup efforts of the debris left behind by Hurricane Helene.

The Lick Skillet Farm in New Market, TN is set to host its fourth annual fall cycling rides this Saturday. There will be rides and routes for every level, followed with a a great party at the farm!

⚠️WATERCRAFT TRAVEL ADVISORY FOR DOUGLAS LAKE⚠️

Today October 3, 2024 Tennessee Valley Authority is placing a boom on Douglas Lake at the location on the map to catch debris from floodwater that has washed into this area since last Friday. NO WATERCRAFT WILL BE ABLE TO CROSS THIS DEVICE. So take note depending on where you are entering the water you WILL NOT have full access to Douglas Lake until further notice!
